oops..its been a while...

OK so its been a while. Denture/teeth doing good. Im healing a little faster than the denturist planned on, but hey its me.   The Big Brother/Little brother match is going well. So far me and my "little" have gone bowling and also to the rec room at the big brother building. 

In other news, I have taken up two things to learn. One is C++ programing language. I have always enjoyed programing (when I did it year ago), so I figured I would learn a new language and see how it goes. so far so good. I got one of those "teach yourself (insert topic here)" books from the library. Its a little dated, but so far as I know c++ hasn't changed. They had changed to c# and Java, but c++ is the same. c# and Java are both related to c++ (derived from it actually) so I might have a leg up in learning either of those if I decide to later on. The second hobby I have decided to learn is knitting. I have seen my wife do it for years. I have done latch hooking and even a very small amount of crocheting. I figured if I can get any kind of good, I can help her with the list of Christmas pressies that she lines up, but has a hard time completing due to time constraints. eehh..who knows, I might not last past next weekend.
